Seeking to audit the “Comprehensive Holistic Nurse, Nurse Coach & Consultant Certificate Program”?

There are three prior learning assessment (PLA) categories to choose from in order to be eligible:

  1. Be a CIINDE © graduate;
  2. Be a graduate from a CIINDE © approved Nurse Coaching Program; or
  3. Be a graduate from an alternative Nurse Coaching Program.

CIINDE graduates.

Intention:
To provide an opportunity for CIINDE © Graduates to audit the program. This is to encourage connection and continued learning, as each cohort brings a new richness through shared learning and advancement of the practice.  Cohort 5 onward will have the added benefit of acquiring an additional certificate: An Introduction to Complementary & Alternative Modalities (CAM)-CPD/CNE’s awarded with this certificate.

Prerequisites:
Must have successfully completed and graduated from TheCIINDE © Comprehensive Holistic Nurse & Nurse Coaching Certificate Program and be in good standing with TheCIINDE ©.

Requirements:
Although returning students are welcome to redo assignments, it is not required (i.e. Reflective Journal and Self-Care Plan, case studies, etc.). Should a student choose to redo assignments, this is for personal development purposes only and will not be submitted or reviewed by an advisor.

Returning students may not repeat coaching practicum hours; however, they may choose to act as pro-bono clients for current students.

Should a returning student wish to redo coaching hours and/or assignments for assessment purposes, the student must re-enroll as a new student at the full course fee.

Procedure:
Applicants must complete and submit the online PLA TheCIINDE © application, including:

  • proof of current unencumbered nursing license
  • proof of graduation from TheCIINDE © coaching program including official letter of confirmation indicating graduation and number of supervised nurse coaching hours (you may submit a photo or attach official letter of confirmation). Note: if you no longer have your official letter and require another copy, please reach out to savannah.guignion@theciinde.com. A $25.00 fee will apply.
  • Tuition is $995.00 + tax and applicable fees (i.e. application fee payable at time of registration). 

CIINDE © approved Nurse Coaching Program graduates.

Intention:
To recognize and honor skills learned and coaching hours accumulated in a reputable nurse coaching program other than TheCIINDE’s © Comprehensive Holistic Nursing & Nurse Coaching Certificate Program. Graduates from Cohort 5 onward will have the added benefit of acquiring an additional certificate: An Introduction to Complementary & Alternative Modalities (CAM)-CPD/CNE’s awarded with this certificate.

Prerequisites:
Program must be recognized by TheCIINDE © as a reputable and approved nurse coaching program. Program approval is at the discretion of TheCIINDE ©. Examples of CIINDE © approved programs:

  • Nurse Coach Collective (TNCC)
  • International Nurse Coaching Association (INCA)
    • NOTE: if you graduated from a program other TNCC or INCA, you will be required to include a brief but detailed description of the program and a link to the school’s website.

Requirements:
As a participant in the program, you will be required to be a pro-bono coaching client for one of your peers enrolled in the program. This will give you experience with TheCIINDE © approach to nurse coaching and is a great way to connect with peers.

Procedure:
Applicants must complete and submit the online TheCIINDE © PLA Application, including:

  • proof of current unencumbered nursing license
  • proof of both graduation from a nurse coaching program and written (and, signed) proof of acquisition of the required supervised coaching practicum hours (you may submit a photo)
  • pay tuition fee of $1595.00 CAD + tax and applicable fees (i.e. application fee payable at time of registration). 

Graduates from an alternative Nurse Coaching Program.

Intention:
To recognize and honor skills learned and coaching hours accumulated in a reputable nurse coaching program other than TheCIINDE’s © Comprehensive Holistic Nursing & Nurse Coaching Certificate Program. Graduates from Cohort 5 onward will have the added benefit of acquiring an additional certificate: An Introduction to Complementary & Alternative Modalities  (CAM)-CPD/CNE’s awarded with this certificate.

Prerequisites:
Applicants must have successfully graduated from of a nurse coaching program, and have completed the required supervised nurse coaching practical hours. Examples of two programs recognized by TheCIINDE © are The Nurse Coach Collective (TNCC) and the International Nurse Coach Association (INCA). If you are a graduate of one of these two programs, please refer to the procedure below. Otherwise, TheCIINDE © will review the program information submitted to determine eligibility.

  • proof of both graduation from a nurse coaching program and written (and, signed) proof of acquisition of the required supervised coaching practicum hours (you may submit a photo OR official letter of confirmation indicating graduation and number of supervised nurse coaching hours)
  • a brief but detailed description of the program including a link to the  website.

you will receive an email response within 3-7 business days (following receipt of application). If accepted into the program, you will receive instructions regarding tuition payment and admission to the learning platform. Payment of tuition secures your seat and is due prior to commencement of the program.
